Two Tribes, Thursday July 7 2011

Just starting my level!..look amazing on iPad 2.

reec0X, Thursday July 7 2011, 10:52

Any plans on wifi multiplayer? I don't own a iPad, and I just convinced 4 friends on buying your game... Please?

Ivan Filipe Stefani, Thursday July 7 2011, 21:51

We're considering different updates. I've just written down a +1 for multiplayer over Wifi :)

Collin Ginkel, Friday July 8 2011, 2:29

Is there retina display support? I only but apps that support the retina display fully.

Caleb Wren, Friday July 8 2011, 5:45

Then you're in luck! Swords & Soldiers makes full use of the Retina Display. We have a system that maximizes the graphics for each platform. So the more memory and the more pixels your device has, the better it looks!

Collin Ginkel, Friday July 8 2011, 9:40

I'm off the next couple of days. Looking forward to play this gem!

Jur, Friday July 8 2011, 10:03

You're right collin! the graphics on S&S will go to max on iPad 2 due to its processor A5 chip & improved display graphic! - compared to iPad 1.

reec0X, Friday July 8 2011, 10:43

Make that a +2 for (global) WiFi multiplayer! :P

Ryan, Wednesday July 13 2011, 1:26

Any chance there'll be an Android version of this released?

Declan Hall, Sunday December 4 2011, 1:59

Yes! :)

Collin Ginkel, Monday December 5 2011, 21:01

This game is really nice (gameplay, graphics, story, ...), good job :)

Else I have just 3 points to notice:

- BUG: I use an iPad2 (locale fr_FR), with the Aztec (Campaign, MultiPlayers, ...) the weapon to take the control of the enemy is never unactivated. I mean, the user thinks he could use it, but if he tries, it will say "No enought Mana".

- OMISSION: When you deployed the last version to the AppleStore. You forgot to update the available languages. Because it says there is only the english available but it clearly supports the french and others languages I guess (it could stop people who do not speak English).

- FEATURE: I played several times and I didn't have any message "You like this game, please let us know on the apple store..." with a button to go directly to your appstore game page. You should do it if you want to have more "good" rates & comments.

Finally, after playing this game via web, it is time for me to change my comfortability, thanks that this has been available for iPad, very much like this specially now iI am using new ipad case with keyboard that I got from Keka Case, so good to have something for my device.

Ronald, Friday April 12 2013, 9:34

Where did the 2 player split screen for android go? I have the S&S from the Humble Bundle and playing on a nexus 7 (2013).

Erin, Thursday February 13 2014, 4:20

When is another update coming out for the iPhone/iPad version? I really love the game but it needs to be expanded. Like if we could in skirmishes be able to control multiple different armies like Aztec, Viking, and Chinese. I would love to see this and I am sure other people would too. Thank you.

Tommy I, Wednesday May 28 2014, 1:40

Thanks for the suggestion Tommy, but we're not developing the game anymore.

Collin, Wednesday May 28 2014, 15:13

Kind of reminds me a great deal of the game settlers, haven't played it in a while, maybe I'll give it a go, before the night is up.

rdokoye, Wednesday September 24 2014, 17:26

I bought the game in the Humble bundle. Unfortunately it does not run on my new nexus 9. This makes me sad :(
Is there any way to solve this?

Phylu, Saturday March 14 2015, 13:23

Sorry to hear that! Is there an error message that is displayed?

Collin, Saturday March 14 2015, 22:44

The only error message is from the Android system, that the app has closed.

I retrieved a stacktrase via logcat and uploaded it for you: http://pastebin.com/aZ5mT5TN

I hope this helps. I would really like to play S&S again.

Phylu, Sunday March 15 2015, 13:48

I'm in a similar boat as Collin, although I think I can narrow down the issue to Android Lollipop. I had purchased S&S and Toki Tori via the Humble Bundle, and my daughter was playing both games happily as recently as two weeks ago. An update to Android 5.0 Lollipop on my Galaxy S4 Active has left both games unable to start. Other games purchased via Humble Bundle are still working though.

Eduardo Cruz, Tuesday March 24 2015, 2:28

Is there any progress on the Lollipop problem?

Phylu, Monday July 13 2015, 10:09

We asked the porting house and are awaiting an answer on it!

Martijn, Tuesday July 21 2015, 12:05

Please, for the love of sauerkraut...add online multiplayer to the app. I'm the world's greatest fan of the PC game, but I cried a little after I bought the app and found I couldn't play against a friend.
