Toki Tori 2 will miss its December 20th Wii U release date. It sucks, and we're sorry to dissappoint you, but here's why!

Toki Tori 2 Gets Better, Later!

Toki Tori 2’s a personal project for us. It’s first game we’ve made without being tied to a license or publisher, it’s something we’re putting a lot of love in, and it’s something that’s just not good enough to be released yet.

It’s also the most complete game experience we’ve developed so far; the whistle and stomp concept is rather unique, the game world is filled with all kinds of creatures, we’ve added an interactive storyline and we’ll allow you to explore the game’s world as you see fit. All these things are in the game right now, but there are so many things that could, no… should be a better that we feel we would do you a disservice to you if we release it in its current form.

So what now? We are busy making a plan to fix the the game’s current weak spots, in all categories ranging from gameplay to graphics to technology. We are not ready to commit to an exact release date at this point, but it will definitely be early in the new year.

In closing, we’d like to thank everyone for the support we’ve received this past year. We hope you’ll stick with us until the release!

THANKS!

That's the plan Mr Toki Tori Is Awesome. It was not an easy decision, but in the end quality must come first.

This is a huge disappointment, but at the same time, I'm really happy you guys are taking your time. I'm such a big Toki Tori fan, and I'm willing to wait until you guys are happy with it. That is very so very important.

So CHEERS TO POLISH! Still bummed. ;)

Hey there. Stinks that the project was delayed, but knowing you guys, it will be well worth the wait. Just a few minor grammar corrections I noticed in your post.

I suspected from the start of the wii u announcement at e3 that you guys just said this date so you could get on the wii u early release video.

Which im fine with for exposure but the beta is far from finished and it was quite obvious even then that you would not keep the date.

Don't announce dates tell you guys have a real idea next time please it just gets peoples hopes up for no reason.

I had a feeling this might happen seeing all those post-it notes in the to-be-done wall, and when the now previous deadline was so close too.

Will it still be Wii U first and Steam after, or does a simultaneous release now look more probable?

No problem, we can wait longer to get better game. I can wish only: Good Luck and contact Us when new version to test will be released :)

Would there be a level editor for the Wii U? Then I would totally buy it if it has a level editor for the Wii U
