Well, if you want to know what you get when you combine the greatest puzzle cube in the world with some of the world’s greatest puzzle-game designers: look no further! It’s much more dynamic than your everyday variety puzzle game and really shines with its physics engine which really helps to make the visuals as effective as possible.
I lover puzzle games. Therefore, I loooooooooove Rush.

where can i find a list of solutions? Particularly, I would LOVE to take the cascade puzzle from the hard level and light it on fire........
Casey, Monday October 18 2010, 0:46
Hi Casey,
Here are some tips to solve the level (if you promise not to burn it ;)
- There are three identical platforms between the platforms that hold the start and exit points. The solution for the first and the last of those platforms is exactly the same and requires only one "north" facing conveyor. (On the first platform: place that conveyor two tiles north and two tiles west from the start point)
- Ignore the purple warps, only use the blue ones. In fact, you'll have to use the three remaining signs to send the cube into the warp three times.
Hope that helps, feel free to contact me if you're still stuck.
PS. "North" is the direction you're facing when you start a level.

its just like the best game ever!@

Your video on Steam says "Free demo available", but I can't see any demo button/link on the Steam page, and I can't find a link on your site either. Am I looking in the wrong place? (I often try before I buy!) Also, your site is a bit slow loading pages (I think it's due to some images taking a while to download) - I'm in Australia and it takes 10 seconds to open one page. Initially I thought your site was down but it did eventually load.
The video footage looks pretty swanky though! The graphics are nice and clean - it looks like it could be one of those "simple but addictive games".
Great to see another Indie game out there!
OneManArmy, Friday December 3 2010, 21:50
@ONEMANARMY
The demo is going to be live, hopefully within the hour.
Collin Ginkel, Friday December 3 2010, 22:53
Why was the demo removed from the Steam Marketplace?!
Chris Brundrett, Saturday December 4 2010, 1:01
It was crashing, so we took it down, fixed it and are now waiting for Steam to put it online again. Feel free to check out the Steam forums for what other people think about the game though!
Collin, Saturday December 4 2010, 2:12
Will this come to the iphone?
indiegamer, Sunday December 5 2010, 3:21
what engine did you build this on?
Casey Hawley, Monday December 6 2010, 9:37
@ Indiegamer
Not anytime soon, it's going to take a newer iphone to be able the handle this many objects at once.
@ Casey
It's all done with internal tech. I must admit we don't really have a name for it :)
Collin Ginkel, Monday December 6 2010, 12:44
Great game. One small issue:
When I click on the Bonus Levels, it tells me it'll cost a mouse click to get the bonus levels. I click OK, and nothing changes. If I click on Bonus Levels again, it comes back with the same popup...any idea what I might be doing wrong? I've solved all the other puzzles...
Matt, Sunday December 12 2010, 10:19
Just picked this up from Steam. Three reasons:
1) The price is a steal, and from what I've seen so far, it's totally, totally worth it.
2) I watched the trailer and was instantly excited.
3) It reminds me somewhat of an old Lucasarts game, "Pit Droids," and that was a total blast back in the day, so I figured RUSH would be too :)
Seriously, great job, Two Tribes. I'm loving it so far. It's nice to be reminded that the lump of white/gray squishy organic matter I lug about wherever I go *can* actually be used for something clever, on occasion!
Emmett Framson, Sunday December 12 2010, 12:43
Greetings!
I'm sory to copypaste, but I'm afraid that my comment in the Rush steam group (I am “Joseph Stalin" there) was unread. Here's what I wrote you:
“Hello! Firstly, I'd like to congratulate you on the release. Great, awesome game.
Secondly, though, I want to report a bug: when you win a level and don't quit the victory screen for about a minute, then you earn an achievment of loop (easy, medium — depends on the level you play). Kinda dissapointing :(
And again — great game, I love it. Keep up the good work!”
Arthur Aslanyan, Monday December 13 2010, 10:49
Errata: “sory” — “sorry”
Arthur Aslanyan, Monday December 13 2010, 10:50
Hi, any chance of a Mac version? Love Toki Tori, and this one looks like a winner too.
Rhywun, Wednesday December 29 2010, 3:46
Any chance of releasing a map editor for RUSh? It would be a real waste if such a great game were to be limited to developer only content. A map editor would provide excellent replay value, create a healthy community and contribute to the longevity of the game.
braindead, Wednesday December 29 2010, 7:01
I second Braindead's idea. Love the game, and a level editor would be a most valuable addition. Keep up the good work!
Elroy Jumpertz, Wednesday December 29 2010, 15:17
is there any chance for a linux version of rush?
Florian Lütkebohmert, Wednesday December 29 2010, 16:09
@Rhywun & Florian
Sorry guys, PC only for the time being. Mac might be added much later, but Linux is not part of our plans.
Collin, Wednesday December 29 2010, 23:04
What a great game! :D good job guys!
P.s. this 'otta get u guys noticed by those big companies(hopefully not EA, unless their crunch time has softened up)! Good luck with all of your future endeavorers team RUSH!
facebook1340037455, Sunday January 2 2011, 4:27
Is there anywhere I can find the soundtrack to this game? I love it. :)
Robert Lauder, Wednesday January 19 2011, 22:41
Hi,
I just wanted to told you how much I loved Rush, it's a fantastic game !
Thank you for all, I have just finished the last three bonus levels yet
and now, i'm feeling a little bit sad that there won't be a few more.
Just keep on doing great games !
Best regards,
Marian
PS: I tried to reach you by email, but it seems that my email adress is recognized as spam... :'(
Would you let me pass through the filter ?
Marian Magloire, Saturday January 22 2011, 2:48
@Robert
We're working on releasing it. Come back in a few weeks time!
@Marian
Glad you enjoyed the game, perhaps you could try Toki Tori as well?
Collin, Saturday January 22 2011, 11:28
Well I know you have already commented saying you may release it for mac in the future. Any idea's of when? And if so will it be on steam?
Adrian Gaucher, Sunday February 6 2011, 7:51
@Adrian
The timing is still not determined. We're looking towards making all our future games Mac compatible. It'll definitely be on Steam if we decide to release RUSH for Mac. Steam and Mac App Store most probably.
Collin, Monday February 7 2011, 13:11
Will there ever be a soundtrack available for purchase? I'd kill for it :O
Excellent gameplay and music by the way. This was definitely money well spent <3
Damien Erlandson, Sunday February 20 2011, 12:34
How do you adjust the volume in your games, there seems to only be an on/off switch? All my other programs have been set to the same comfortable level, but with Rush and Toki Tori I have to either turn the sound off or reach for the speakers if I want to avoid my ears ringing for the rest of the day.
Vidar, Saturday April 2 2011, 17:56
in Toki Tori you can set the audio levels by going into the options menu. In RUSH we just have an on and off switch for sound effects and music.
Collin Ginkel, Sunday April 3 2011, 13:37
My mistake w.r.t. Toki Tori. Any plans to change the RUSH sound options?
Vidar, Sunday April 3 2011, 17:34
I do not think we'll be changing it anytime soon. I'm pretty sure there was a perfectly logical reason when we decided not to include it, but I have no idea anymore what that was :)
Collin Ginkel, Sunday April 3 2011, 18:49
Not a fan, at all. Sorry.
The failings for me are very simple - first off, the music and graphical style don't tie into the genre that you're working on. I like puzzle games, but I'm not 18 years old and dancing in a club. For the record, I'm 29. I can get through a couple of levels if I turn the music off, but even then the graphical style is just, well, irritating.
Secondly, the interface is crap. Why do I need to push a button in the top corner? Why can't I control the speed at which the cubes move? (maybe I could but I didn't feel like suffering more 'play') There are a load of other minor things that annoyed me that alone aren't even worth mentioning, but as a whole, when I'm supposed to be enjoying the game, make me quit after no more than ten minutes at most.
Get a games designer, get a lead artist.
Right now the game is pretty painful. I'm not just being a prick, there's obviously a lot of potential here, but its not been realized in this.
Right now there's much better games on flash than this (closest example, Bloxors). I know you've put a lot of time into the rendering, but a game is always a three legged stool. With on leg, it just falls over.
I'm not a random internet dickhead, it'd be nice to see you guys achieve.
ijed, Monday April 4 2011, 2:07
@IJED: You're not the only 25+ here, but not loving the music is a very personal point of view which has nothing to do with your age. Not loving the ingame music, pop-up your favorite music player, and disable the game music...
About the graphical style, that's again a very personal opinion. I personally like the Rush GUI 100 times more as the Bloxors one. This is not a reason for me to say that Bloxors isn't a good game...
You don't really make sense, saying that Two Tribes spend a lot of work on the rendering, and saying that you don't like it. I must agree setting the speed of the cubes would be a great addition, but the kill the game for that isn't a very good statement!
"Get a games designer, get a lead artist." is a very bold statement, that I think you are not allowed to make. I worked with the designers and artists at Two Tribes, and I confirm they are talented in every optic. Just because you personally don't like that style, take in mind other people may. Weight your words carefully when writing comments!
Benoit Roosens, Monday April 4 2011, 10:26
I came off a bit strong, sorry. And I didn't mean this as an attack on the team - I know how much work goes into putting a game together. In my defense my commentary on a game designer and lead artist isn't about any one individual's capabilities but rather having people whose sole responsibility is to worry about those aspects of the game. These two elements seemed lacking to me.
I'm going to play the game some more - it seems I'm in a minority for not liking it, and that you guys are fully committed to making it good.
ijed, Monday April 4 2011, 12:17
That's why it's a good idea to weight your words. I have no problems with you not liking this game, I will not like games that you like and the other way around, but don't be bold on hard working developers :).
Benoit Roosens, Monday April 4 2011, 12:37
@ IJED: Tip of the day: Use the space bar man ;)
Collin Ginkel, Monday April 4 2011, 21:28
Great game! Please create a Mac version!
I would instantly buy this on the App Store.
M4he, Friday April 15 2011, 21:44
Was the music for this game done by in-house guys or contracted people?
Either way you should get them to make music again. Some damn great tunes in this game.
Mat, Friday November 11 2011, 20:08
@Mat: We're thinking of releasing the sound-track to RUSH in the near future. Stay tuned!
Collin, Friday November 11 2011, 21:16
@Mat: And it was made by Michiel Nijhof (http://twitter.com/#!/SampleMaster) who was sort of in-house at the time :)
Collin, Friday November 11 2011, 21:18
Both this and EDGE are the same for me, with the Mac versions. The games try to open, automagically switch to full screen, then almost immediately crash. I can't do anything.
Kyle, Tuesday December 13 2011, 4:36
Will this be on OnLive?
Johnson, Monday December 19 2011, 8:31
Yup, probably next week. First up is Toki Tori which will launch Today!
Collin, Monday December 19 2011, 18:06
You guys know that Rush for Mac (from Steam) has been broken since launch, right? On 27" iMacs it starts full-screen and the display is completely screwed up. The only thing you can do is quit. You also seem to be ignoring your support thread on the Steam forums.
PissedOffMacGuy, Wednesday December 21 2011, 18:05
Looks like this:
http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/33609/broken.jpg
PissedOffMacGuy, Wednesday December 21 2011, 18:07
Dear Pissed Off Mac Guy: We're working on a fix, but don't have any hardware where it goes wrong, so it is highly time-consuming at the moment.
For the time being, you could try and disable the shader effects in the .ini file, that might work.
Collin, Thursday December 22 2011, 18:48
hey, its been over a year since RUSH released, and theres still no sign of that soundtrack coming any time soon. Meanwhile the EDGE soundtracke was made available before the game came out. What happened?
Anon, Friday February 3 2012, 10:08
Another vote for the RUSH soundtrack ... I will forever remember playing this game to unwind while working on a web project with an insane deadline :) Do you have anyone working on remixing the music files? You might even consider making a contest out of it.
Eric, Friday February 17 2012, 9:53
Could you guys please make this for android? i read somewhere that you said that your not gonna make this for iOS because they werent powerful enough to handle that many objects. but android phones are way more powerful than iOS.
Please make an android port.
Peter, Sunday May 27 2012, 7:44
Thanks for contacting us Peter.
Android and iOS devices are similar in specification, for us it's mostly a matter of creating the technology for those devices to do the game justice. If we decide to make an iOS version of the game, it'll end up on Android bit later too probably.
Collin, Wednesday May 30 2012, 9:47
Soundtrack! Pleeeease!
Someone, Friday June 1 2012, 17:46
Thanks Two Tribes for making my dream come true and putting this on the App Store!
It was an instant buy ;)
M4he, Tuesday September 25 2012, 20:57
How do you do the Rubik's Cube? I have the Mac version, and I found the file in the package contents.
